Tracking Technologies and Cookies
Our website is built on Squarespace, which may place cookies and similar technologies to operate the site and, where enabled, to analyse how visitors use it. We use cookies for purposes such as:
Necessary/Essential Cookies – required for the website to function properly
Analytics Cookies – we use Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it. This involves sharing some data (such as your IP address and browsing activity on our site) with Google, which may process this data outside the UK. How We Store Your Data
Our website is hosted by Squarespace, Inc., and we may use other reputable providers of cloud-based software (for example, for email and file storage) to help us operate our business. Those providers are responsible for the security of data held within their systems. We use strong passwords and, where available, two-factor authentication to help prevent unauthorised access to systems containing your data.
Retention of Your Personal Data
We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, and to comply with our legal and professional obligations.
Because we provide architectural services, we are required to retain project records, correspondence and related personal data for a significant period after a project concludes, in line with our professional indemnity insurance requirements and potential liability under the Limitation Act 1980. Project-related records are typically retained for 12 years from practical completion of a project.
General enquiry and website usage data, where it does not relate to an active or completed project, is retained for a shorter period and deleted or anonymised once no longer needed.
Transfer of Your Personal Data
Your information may be processed by us in the UK, and by our Service Providers, some of whom may be located outside the UK. Where this happens, we will take reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely and that any transfer complies with UK data protection law, including the use of appropriate safeguards.
Disclosure of Your Personal Data
Business Transactions
If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.
Law Enforcement and Legal Requirements
Under certain circumstances, we may be required to disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law, or in response to valid requests by public authorities such as a court, government agency, or planning/building control authority.
We may also disclose Personal Data where we believe in good faith that it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights or property, investigate wrongdoing in connection with our services, protect personal safety, or protect against legal liability.
Security of Your Personal Data
The security of your Personal Data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Special Category Data
Some personal data is treated as more sensitive under data protection law, known as “special category data”. This includes information about health, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, and similar categories.
We do not generally seek to collect special category data. However, it may occasionally arise in limited circumstances – for example, health or accessibility information disclosed in connection with a staff member’s sickness absence, or access requirements a client shares with us so that we can take them into account in a design or during a site visit.
Where we do hold this kind of information, we only use it for the specific purpose it was provided for, apply additional safeguards to protect it, and only process it where we have a valid legal basis to do so under data protection law.
