The brief was to provide an evaluation and assessment of the conservation issues based upon existing background documents and research, and looking at existing fabric on the site.

Proposed development at Bristol Bridge

A conservation appraisal prepared on behalf of a private developer to accompany a planning application, identifying redundant buildings for restoration and reuse, analysing and identifying areas of the site for new development following an archaeological desk top study. The site is located next to the earliest crossing of the River Frome at Bristol Bridge with evidence of Bronze Age, Mediaeval and later development in the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries.

Castle House, Bridgwater, Somerset

The restoration and conversion of one of the earliest extant concrete buildings in the country, on behalf of SAVE Britain's Heritage. The building was also featured on BBC 2's 'Restoration' programme in July 2004. Richard Pedlar Architects are also preparing a Conservation Plan for the building.
